ALIKE: A Short Animated Film About How Society Can Destroy Creativity!

A short film directed by Daniel Martínez Lara & Rafa Cano Méndez. The synopsis of the film is very simple: In a busy life, Copi is a father who tries to teach the right way to his son, Paste. But... what is the correct path?

We often put value on our school and work. We are forced into rules of sitting down, shutting up, and follow the instructions. This short animated video seems to express this view pretty well. I think a good majority of people can relate to this and it is a good reminder to take some time to escape the hustle and bustle of the world today.

Stress is a creativity killer! If you're going to do something, do it with a passion. Don't let your education get in the way of your learning. Don't be afraid to fail at something, and if you fail, don't be ashamed to laugh at yourself. You'll learn it isn't the only time you're going to fail, I guarantee it! And don't let people tell you that there is only one way to do something. They may know of a way that works, respect that. But don't listen to the idea that it has to be done that way. Innovation doesn't come from a repeated process. When encountering a problem, which will happen, you have to look for a solution. And with that being said, I hope you enjoy this award-winning short film!
