"Happiness" Short Film by: Steve Cutts
Another animation by Steve Cutts that exposes the disturbing truth about society. But am I the only one that thinks this is a little inaccurate because not one mouse had a mobile device? No, but seriously... This video tackles consumerism on a disturbing level. /react-text
react-text: 2020 I will have to warn you though, this filmmaker is not afraid of pointing out anything and he is excellent at exposing every detail. (aside from the lack of mobile devices) However, this is an excellent short video. So, take the 5 minutes of your busy day to check this out. /react-text react-text: 2023 This video seems to point to how we tend to associate happiness with what we have and what we gain. That happiness is actually the kind that is short-lived, as crazy as it may sound. Happiness comes from what you give, and sometimes when you have nothing... There is actually a lot to go around. We are constantly being advertised to and bombarded with the idea what we need things to be happy. We only need the basics, if we are truthful. And before you start to think I am becoming "preachy," let me apologize. That is not my intent. /react-text
react-text: 2026 However, I am proud of the fact of how my business actually works. And if you're new here, allow me to explain: /react-text react-text: 2029 These blog posts are usually encouraged to be shared. I don't pay for advertising unless I believe something is genuinely worth advertising. Most businesses pay over 60% of their revenue for advertising through advertising agencies. And that results in money piling in one spot. I actually offer giveaways on my social media page. (See video at the homepage of this site for details) /react-text react-text: 2032 As such, we have a business that can get affordable advertising through the support of our readers and visitors. And have reasonable giveaways that benefit random readers and supporters. I don't believe this is the best way of going about advertising, but I firmly believe that it is better than paying 60% to a rich-fat-cat in the advertising business. And I believe it is the most effective in the long run. /react-text react-text: 2035 Also, if we want something to change for the better... We have to be the example. Not complain about what people are doing or not doing. /react-text
