As a bit of an introvert myself, rejection is something I have a hard time with. However, I've learned that it really doesn't matter what others think of me. There are plenty of decent people that deserve my attention, and I am happy to give it them. If I'm not someone's "cup-of-tea," that's fine! If they have absolutely no reason for not liking me, that's their issue. And I'm cool with it!
I've learned that I can appreciate approval, but I don't need it. I don't require approval from anyone. I'm not someone who becomes immobilized just because one out of two people don't approve of me. Anyways, there's my viewpoint on the subject. Whether you wanted it or not. And don't let fear of rejection stop you from getting to know someone.
