I Took the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Assessment
So I took the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Assessment to see what type of personality I have, or at least, see how accurate it was. What I found interesting is that they got me "down to a T" after having me answer a few questions. I'm sharing my results, but there is a ton of information that I actually can't post. This test goes into your strengths and weaknesses, how you view relationships, what could be your best career path (which I found that blogging is right line of work with mine...) etc. However, after taking this test I've learned that I need to acknowledge my weaknesses. I've realized I can be a perfectionist and that I expect more than 100% from others, and can be easily discouraged when people don't hit those expectations. I've come to see that I work better alone, however when it comes a career path, I work better with teamwork and everyone pitching in ideas... meaning I am not for "working for an employer." Maybe this is a hint that I need to find a business partner who can take the test and see if they're strengths can supplement where I fall short.
As I mentioned, I've found this test to be pretty accurate and I found it fascinating that many companies and employers are having their employees taking these tests to see where they would be best suited. And I have to say, that is not a bad idea to take this test at all if you're looking to find a balance in the workplace.
