Entrepreneurial Mind: Reaching Goals by Collaborating!
There is success with working with a team! In fact, I recently brought on a new writer to contribute to the content of this blog and they recently finished their first article. I have spent the last 7 years working on this blog and I just now start getting really into it with the appropriate amount of passion. But I realized one very important factor, working by myself wasn't going to help me or others in the long run. So I decided to find someone to collaborate with.
Now, I have to say: This was not an easy decision for me to make... I viewed this blog as my domain and I thought that if I gave someone equal opportunity to write, it would somehow taint my "sacred space." But I have come to realize that there are a ton of benefits that come from working with others! 1.) Moral Support: This is not the biggest benefit, as even the readers of this blog can give moral support, but it's different when you have others that have the same passion as you when working together in an activity you are interested in. I've learned that, "Passion fuels success!" 2.) Expansion: Marketing is much better when you have a partnership. By having other content contributors, they are more likely to share their content with their friends. Which leads them to this website! FREE ADVERTISING! 3.) Helping Others: I can't express how awesome it is to help people to achieve a measure of success. I am currently training this new partner and it feels good to help someone. Now, I know I haven't had a giveaway in a long time. (SEE VIDEO FOR DETAILS) In fact, I think it's been a few months. But I am hoping to get back on track with that once I get this steamroller going again. It's just been a slow process since I lost my other job. 4.) Making the Dream Work: Yeah, the expression, "Team work makes the Dream work!" is no joke! Sometimes the passion of one person can't get very far. Sometimes it requires another person with a certain level of determination to help you when you lack it. Working alone can be demanding and exhausting and you can't expect results immediately when you work like that. I had that determination for 7 years. I have written over 500+ articles in my writing career. From 2011 to 2014, I was a Yahoo! Contributor. I had another blog before this site, and I still keep going. I've learned this one important factor about success, you can't go at it alone. People were meant to help others. And if you haven't found your own personal passion, help others. You still have time. Also, success isn't for the closed-minded. Sometimes, we have to open ourselves up to see what we can make. Me letting another person come onboard as a content contributor, for example... I really thought about doing it, but still didn't go through with it out of fear. So once I let go of my fears, I brought someone in. And I have no regrets!
